NYC music Entertainment Booking, Management and PR Company is seeking interns. We are a reputable NYC based company that is responsible for contacting, booking, managing, and PR local and national bands at various nightlife venues throughout the east coast area. We are also producing and organizing our own show around the New York City area. This is a fun and exciting opportunity that will open many doors for you in the future!
Candidates must also have their own laptop; possess excellent computer skills (Word, Photoshop, Design + creative background is a plus,) and strong organizational skills.
Job Requirements:
-Must be proficient in Facebook, Myspace and Twitter; you will be managing several social networking tools to assist with promoting various projects
-Updating databases to promote weekly concerts flyers, event info, etc.
-Basic computer knowledge A MUST; Photoshop & Microsoft Office preferred
-Strong written/verbal communication skills are A MUST
-Must be able to work independently, multi-task, pay strong attention to detail and meet deadlines
-Strong knowledge of the local NYC music scene (and beyond) to assist in booking events and bands.
-Knowledge of booking and/or promoting events a strong plus.
Applicants will be able to work under pressure on multi-tasked projects/assignments.
-Minimum availability of 6 hours a day 3/4 days a week.
We are also looking for first level SOUND ENGINEER for our concerts; payment can be arranged.
